I’m helping my husband demo his browser-based MMO game, First Earth, at the Classic Game Fest in Austin. Here’s a photo. Adam is wearing the gray Torth T-shirt. Yes, that massive curved monitor is what he uses for work. It’s a 57″ Samsung.

I was going to finish a chapter today… but… Adam gave me free rein to add more drag-n-drop crafting to his game AND to deploy it live, during the show. That is way too much fun for me to pass up! So that’s what I’m doing. When you drag two pieces of salt together, you get crystals. And so forth. I have THE POWER!!! And I created most of those art assets, too.
Kids LOVE First Earth, and instinctively seem to see it as a successor to Roblox and Minecraft. As we sit here, every kid that walks by this table just sits down and starts playing, whether we invite them to or not.
I am vending next weekend at a comic con, and will aim to complete a chapter this week. Apologies for the delay.
